About Bill McAnalley
A Life Based on "Understanding Nature"

Dr. Bill H. McAnalley was born in San Angelo, Texas, in 1944. He started his academic studies at Angelo State University and culminated in a PhD in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
While completing his studies at UT Southwestern, Dr. McAnalley first had the opportunity to analyze Aloe vera and attempt to decipher the active ingredient. This set into motion the greatest endeavor for Dr. McAnalley, determining which aloe component was responsible for the great range of therapeutic effects. The culmination of his research resulted in the discovery of acemannan, an acetylated, beta-linked polymannan.
The next chapter of Dr. McAnalley’s life focused on truly understanding the compound he had isolated from aloe, and on the development of products based on acemannan. He has obtained scores of patents for his research and his products. He continues to inspire and motivate people to continue learning about optimal health and nature, and tying both together by developing products that improve health for people around the globe. |
